Kamaz says plans to raise 2021 investment program to 16.7 bln rbl

MOSCOW, Dec 15 (PRIME) -- Russian truck producer Kamaz plans to raise the 2021 investment program to 16.7 billion rubles from 8–10 billion rubles in 2020, the company said on Tuesday after a meeting of the board of directors.

"Investment is planned at over 16.7 billion rubles in 2021, including 13 billion rubles to be spent on the model range development, more than 1 billion on research and development," the company said.

Russian truck sales will grow to 32,000 in 2021 from 29,000 planned for 2020, the company said. Total truck sales are planned at 37,000.

"The board of directors has discussed and approved 2021 Kamaz organizations’ business plan. The 2021 sales are planned at 37,000 trucks, including 32,000 to be sold on the Russian market, the rest exported," Kamaz said.
